Before forming The Charles Group, Susan was director of conferences for the Risk and Insurance Management Society, where she guided all meeting operations for over 4,000 member corporations in the United States and for affiliates in Europe and Asia. She has lectured on meeting planning at New York University and is a member of Meeting Professionals International, the American Society of Association Executives, the National Association of Exhibit Managers and the Meeting Consultants Network.

She has over 25 years of expertise in strategic planning, financial management, organization and implementation… and a master’s degree from the City University of New York to boot. Carol earns accolades from clients for dedication that goes way beyond the call of duty. She’s the oil in The Charles Group machine, keeping things running smoothly, on time and on budget.
Before joining The Charles Group, Carol was executive director of the American Medical Women’s Association, which represents more than 90,000 female physicians. She’s a member of the American Society of Association Executives, the New York Society of Association Executives, and the International Association of Association Management Companies.
