For this company, this event represents the big time
The event | The Client Appreciation Event for an international insurance company wins the hearts and minds of the company’s key customers with big name entertainment.
The history | The Charles Group has been managing this event since 1987.
The task | Our client’s goal is always ambitious, but simple: provide an outstanding, highly entertaining event that demonstrates its appreciation for clients. This is easier said than done. The people asked to attend this event are invited to many competing affairs… they have their choice. The event, therefore, has to be enticing and engaging to keep them coming back every year. The Charles Group has helped its client successfully meet this competitive challenge.
Over the years, the event has taken many creative forms, in cities across the country. Here is just a sampling …
- A California dream – Graced by perfect West Coast weather and the soothing sound of the Pacific behind them, clients feasted on seafood and southwestern delicacies before being entertained by the smooth, California sounds of The Beach Boys at Humphrey’s by the Bay. The surfer group put on a spectacular show, with clients literally dancing in the aisles!
- Sheer paradise – With the soft contours of Diamond Head as a backdrop, the Waikiki Shell was a perfect venue for an outdoor concert with Michael McDonald. Guests feasted on exotic Hawaiian specialties while enjoying beautiful vistas and music.
- Unforgettable evening – After dining on fabulous gourmet fare, clients settled in for a concert of silky vocals from Natalie Cole at the newly renovated Kimmel Center… a state-of-the art, stunning entertainment complex in the heart of Philadelphia.
- Pure class – In Spring of 2010, clients enjoyed a scrumptious bill of fare before being enthralled by the larger-than-life symphonic sounds of The Boston Pops at Agganis Arena in Boston.
What we did | Selected the sites and negotiated the venues; selected, managed and produced the entertainment; created a theme and décor; designed and produced all food and beverage; coordinated transportation; and managed the event onsite.
